The Barrington Area Library is offering more free, downloadable resources than ever before. You'll need a valid Barrington Area Library card to use these services. Come in today and get a card and you'll immediately reap the benefit of free, downloadable e-books, audiobooks, music and magazines! Note that all of these services provide free apps for your favorite device - so you really can take the library everywhere.

Owl iLibrary app: this free app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices allows you to search our library collections, place holds, renew items and manage your account while on the go.
Download, install, open, then select "Barrington Library" from the list of libraries. Log in with your library card number and PIN and you're good to go.

3M Cloud Library: Download e-books to your PC, smart phone or favorite e-reader. (Mac computers and Kindles not currently supported.) We currently offer a variety of e-books for kids and teens - more adult titles will be added soon.
